The Tomato Garden Being in the South, Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus is a concern. I came upon Mountain Glory while searching for tomatoes with TSWV resistance. Mountain Glory10 plants in the ground for 2009 and wish I had more. Heavy producer, Excellent taste! I think that perhaps staking would be better than cages as my experience shows that the weight pulls them down to the ground. A FANTASTIC tomato! Mountain Glory is a hybrid tomato that is resistant to Fusarium Wilt (races 1,2), Verticillium Wilt (race 1) and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus. Listed as a determinate with production at 70 days from transplanting. More info to come ... |
